The Schwalbe tubes were recommended to me because their material was meant to be more resistant to heat degradation.

Best tubes I have found

For a balance of value, longevity, holding pressure and rolling--I have found these tubes to be the best. I have tried many other tubes from many other manufacturers cheap to expensive. I find that these hold pressure over multiple days longer than any other tube I have used--which is great for me since I ride daily but I don't want to have to pump tires every day. With these tubes, I pump/check every 5 days or so with only a 5-10psi drop. They are resistant to punctures and pinches given that I can roll on them for 1000's of miles. pothole, railroad tracks--the more extreme ones/unfortunate hit will blow out, but mostly they roll through (I use GP4000x, Corsa's and Michelin's for tires).
