FAT features a double butted hydro-formed alloy frame with integrated motor mount, smooth weld top junctions and internal battery. This means that the frame can have thinner sidewalls, complex shapes and curves that makes it stronger and lighter than comparative alloy frames with regular tubing. Hydro forming is the process of forcing tubing into a negative mold with internal pressurized oil and or water.
S-Electro FAT is designed around a Shimano EP8 250W motor with integrated torque sensor. This motor is paired to a decent sized 720Wh internal battery giving the FAT a solid range of assisted exploring. A smart control LED button located in the top tube makes switching modes intuitive and easy to do on the fly, also indicating battery levels. An on-bar Led display is easy to use and shows all rider info for the electric system.
FAT Adventurer is fitted with an SBC carbon rigid FAT fork. Lightweight, stiff, and technologically advanced, the Carbon fork offers comfort over alloy forks.
The integrated motor mount used on the FAT Adventurer is 3D forged. This process makes intricate parts, relatively light and super strong. The process uses a hydraulic press, heat and molds to form metal into the required 3D shape.
The intuitive LED button makes switching between modes easier and more intuitive for users, as well as indicating battery level in colour.
FAT Adventurer is designed to accommodate tyres of up to 26" x 4.8". Higher volume tyres mean more grip and more comfort. These massive tyres also float over snow or sand with ease.
Geometry on the Diamond FAT Adventurer is designed to give efficient power delivery to the wheels, promoting comfort for long days out on the bike and the slacker head angle improves handling. This makes the Diamond FAT the ideal adventure or touring companion. The frame also has a low standover, making it great for both male and female riders.
Shorter chainstays means nimble handling, and with the centralized weight of the electric drive system, the compact rear end provides a more balanced ride feel.
The frame is finished with a protective motor cover. This protects the motor from impact damage, and also finishes the bike really well.
The bike is internal routed dropper post compatible and easy to set up. Dropper posts increase riding clearance on technical sections, but could also improve your experience commuting or touring, making mounting and dismounting easier, and stops or traffic light waits less cumbersome.

Yes you can - get in touch and we can sort it out for you.
Most country laws prohibit the use of derestricting or chipping your ebike, and so we can not comment on this. You will also void your warranty and wear out parts quicker if you do.
It is just like any other tyre for the most part. Our rims are pre taped making the process quicker and easier. With FAT tyres, a compressor or high volume air shot helps in supplying the volume of air needed to seat the big tyres.
