HYDRO FORMED ALLOY FRAME
The SE:SERIES TRAIL 26D features a class leading frame. Trickle-down technology means that the new frame benefits from our leading platforms. The frame tubes are hydro-formed into complex shapes to increase strength and stiffness, minimizing weight and excess material use - resulting in a lighter bike for young riders.
ADAPTED POP GEOMETRY
Silverback's Position of Power geometry. Geometry designed to engage bigger muscle groups in pedaling, producing more power output for the same amount of input. Longer frame places the rider forward, in a more balanced position, improving grip on the rear on climbs and on the front on descents. A longer wheelbase and slacker head angle means more control at speed. Geometry is adapted to offer more comfort.
SUSPENSION FORK
The SE:SERIES TRAIL 26D is fitted with purpose chosen 120mm Suntour XCM32 coil fork. 32mm stanchions improve control and reducing flex under load.
SINGLE PIVOT REAR SUSPENSION
Single pivot design provides excellent tracking, trail feedback and longevity of pivots. Suspension kinematics uses a linear leverage ratio to make the bike less sensitive to aggressive rider movement, making the handling more consistent for performance riding. Single pivot also offers less moving parts, lower maintenance and more reliable performance. Delivers 120mm of rear wheel travel.
PEDAL POWER & TRAIL CONFIDENCE
This anti-squat curve gives young riders efficient pedaling early and smooth control deeper in travel — perfect for building confidence on climbs and descents.
YOUTH SUSPENSION LEVERAGE
The leverage rate is optimized for younger riders, helping absorb small bumps while providing consistent and predictable performance over varied terrain. This also aids in setup simplicity and tuning.
SURFACE 26" TUBELESS READY WHEELS
Surface Wheels fitted to the SE:SERIES TRAIL 26D are pre-taped at the factory and tubeless ready from the box. Easy to set up, just add sealant and inflate to seat.
HYDRAULIC DISC BRAKES
SE:SERIES TRAIL 26D comes with hydraulic disc brakes. Hydraulic Disc brakes offer stronger and more dependable all-weather performance over cable-actuated disc or rim brakes. The hydraulic levers also pull lighter for young riders.
WATERBOTTLE SPACE
SE:SERIES TRAIL 26D includes standard waterbottle mounts for bottles and pump mounts and can fit bottles up to 600ml within the front triangle.
SUPER LOW STANDOVER
SE:SERIES TRAIL 26D frame has a very low standover, this means that it can be ridden by both girls and boys with more room for movement. This improves control and confidence over technical terrain.
DROPPER POST READY
SE:SERIES TRAIL 26D frame is ready for a dropper post upgrade with internal routing for the Dropper post remote cable. (80mm travel dropper post included in certain countries)
CHAIN RING GUIDE INCLUDED
Keeps the chain securely in place during bumpy rides, reducing frustration and mechanical stops. Fewer dropped chains means less need for trail-side fixes or parental intervention.
1X GEARED DRIVETRAIN
Silverback fits 1x drivetrains to as many bikes as we can. 1x offers less maintenance, is more intuitive to use and offers a wider gear range than 3x groupsets. We spec a Shimano Acera 1x 8-speed drivetrain and a 30t chainring on the SE:SERIES TRAIL 26D in favor of climbing, rather than flat terrain top speed. Everyone can benefit from easier climbing.
