A lightweight TPU inner tube for compatible 29 × 2.60–3.00-inch tyres. The new-generation Aerothan combines low weight, low rolling resistance and high puncture resistance with a robust aluminium valve shaft.

Threaded aluminium shaft

The externally threaded shaft improves handling and adds stability at the valve transition.

TPU material from BASF

Pyrolysis oil from used tyres is employed in TPU production. This contribution is allocated through mass balance at raw-material manufacturer BASF, not physically to each individual tube.
