Yes — the Register MIPS II is a versatile recreational helmet approved for a wide range of cycling disciplines including trail riding, gravel, and commuting. It is not a full-face helmet and is not designed for downhill or high-consequence enduro use.

How do I find the right size?

Measure your head circumference at its widest point (approx. 2–3 cm above the eyebrows) using a flexible tape measure. Select: S for 51–55 cm, M for 55–59 cm, L for 59–63 cm. Use the Roc Loc® Sport dial to fine-tune the fit after choosing your size.

Can I replace the inner pads?

Yes — the moisture-wicking inner pads are fully removable and hand-washable. Replacement pads are available from Giro directly if needed.

When should I replace my helmet?

Replace your Giro Register MIPS II immediately after any significant impact — even if no visible damage is present. Internal EPS foam can be compromised without showing cracks. As a general rule, replace any helmet after 3–5 years of regular use.
