Stuttgart, Germany — 21 July 2026 — Silverback today unveiled the SilverRider Gravel Series, a new addition to the SilverRider series of bikes, redefining gravel racing and everyday adventure riding. Built on a light, fast, and highly responsive gravel frameset featuring the S‑Tec unit, it combats rider fatigue and shifts the focus toward control, comfort, and versatility—bringing Silverback’s Science of Comfort philosophy to riders who want agility and practicality in one tough, go‑anywhere package.

DEFYING CONVENTIONAL DESIGN. THE NEW S-SHAPE SKELETAL FRAMEWORK

At the heart of the SilverRider Series is Silverback's patent-pending S-Shape Skeletal Structure, a radical reimagining of the traditional hardtail bike frame. Developed from the ground up, the structure challenges conventional frame design by creating a unique balance of power transfer, comfort and visual simplicity. The result is a platform that is both highly capable and unmistakably distinctive.

“Every aspect of the SilverRider Series was designed around the rider,” said Silverback. “Rather than asking riders to adapt to the bicycle, we engineered the bicycle to adapt to the rider.”

COMFORT POWERED BY S-TEC

The Silver Series introduces S-Tec (Seat Absorption Technology), an innovative system that removes the traditional seat tube and allows the rear structure of the frame to work with the rider instead of against them. Combined with larger-volume tires, lower standover height and engineered frame compliance, S-Tec creates a synergistic comfort system that absorbs vibration and road buzz while maintaining efficient power transfer.

Silverback describes this approach as “where form follows function,” combining structural innovation with practical rider benefits that include:

  • Reduced vibration and rider fatigue
  • Improved comfort over long distances
  • Easier mounting and dismounting
  • Greater confidence while cornering
  • Easier & faster hill-climbing
  • More efficient power delivery through engineered compliance

The result is a ride that feels calmer, smoother and more controlled — allowing riders to focus on the journey rather than the terrain beneath them.

SYNERGISTIC EFFECT OF UNIQUE ELEMENTS WORKING TOGETHER

SMARTER MATERIALS. LOWER IMPACT. BETTER RIDES.

The SilverRider Series was developed with sustainability as a core design objective. Silverback's use of recycled alloy and composite materials reduces waste while supporting a more environmentally responsible manufacturing process. The company also emphasizes shorter supply chains, localized production, and improved material utilization to reduce environmental impact throughout the product lifecycle. Water-based paint systems are used in place of more traditional coatings to help minimize harmful emissions, while laser-etched logos replace decals, reducing material use and improving long-term durability.

By designing frames specifically around rider comfort and long-term durability, Silverback aims to create products that remain relevant and enjoyable for years to come, supporting a more sustainable approach to cycling through extended product lifespans.

VERSATILITY AT ITS CORE

HYBRID DROP / FLAT BAR GEOMETRY

Article image

The geometry is tuned to work flawlessly with either a flared drop‑bar or a flat MTB‑style bar, giving riders two distinct personalities in one frame. With drops, the bike feels fast, efficient, and aerodynamic for long gravel miles; with a flat bar, it becomes more upright, confident, and precise for technical terrain or urban cafe-racer. This dual‑compatibility lets riders tailor the cockpit to their style, terrain, and evolving needs without compromising handling.
