KEY FEATURES
No, you can not retrofit disc brakes on this frame. If you want disc brakes - look at the Sirelli Disc.
The Sirelli 2 frame does not have rack mounts, so not ideal for touring.
Unfortunately the frame and fork is not designed to accept CX type knobbly tyres.
The Sirelli is best suited as an endurance road bike, with preference to climbing.
The Sirelli has a maximum tyre clearance of 700C x 25C.
No, the Sirelli is not compatible with a carrier rack.
The Sirelli maximum chainring clearance is 53/39T.
The Sirelli frame is a Silverback Advanced Dynamics compact carbon road frame with a custom engineered carbon layup. This means that the frame is super light, but strong enough to be ridden hard. It features a tapered 1-1/8"-1.5" headtube, Internal Cable Routing and a replaceable derailleur hanger.
Sirelli 2 is fitted with a Silverback Advanced Dynamics carbon fork. The carbon fork further reduces weight on the bike, improves steering precision and ride comfort. Finished in UD carbon, the fork has a tapered carbon steerer and the offset is tuned to suit the nature of the Sirelli.
Incline optimized geometry
The seatstays are designed to be slightly flexible, yet laterally stiff - providing a degree of comfort on an otherwise stiff frame.
Sirelli 2 is fitted with a quality FSA WH-VT-302 wheelset. These are quick rolling on sealed bearings and wrapped in Vittoria Rubino Pro 700x23C tyres, suited to the Sirelli's high speed nature.
A highly efficient, benchmark quality, Shimano 105 2x11 groupset ensures longevity, smooth shifting and efficient power delivery to the wheels. Smooth shifting and minimal maintenance is a given when professionally setup.
Sirelli 2 is designed to go fast. Going fast is great, but you need to be able to manage that speed, and Sirelli uses powerful Shimano 105 rim brakes to effectively do just that.
Sirelli is a light bike and tips the scales at 8.03kg. This weight is on a size Medium excluding pedals but including tubes. The bike is spec'd in favour of low weight, but despite that, the Sirelli has a rider weight limit of 125kg.
