READY FOR PLAYTIME RIDES

Dieses Fahrrad wurde speziell für Kinder entwickelt, die ihr erstes Modell mit Pedalen erhalten. Dank der kleinen, leichten Rahmen können die jungen Fahrer problemlos über dem Rahmen stehen und die Füße auf den Boden setzen – das stärkt ihr Selbstvertrauen. Wir sind der Meinung, dass das Kindsein Spaß machen und unbeschwert sein sollte; deshalb haben wir strapazierfähige, kratzfeste Aufkleber verwendet, die auch dem rauen Spielalltag standhalten. Um Finger und Kleidung zu schützen, ist das Fahrrad mit einem Kettenschutz ausgestattet – das gibt Eltern ein sicheres Gefühl. Mit dem Skid 16 könnte das Radfahrenlernen nicht einfacher sein.

EASY RIDE GEOMETRY

Skid is designed to be a stable bike for young kids inspiring their confidence and improving balance and riding skills. Skid 16 also comes with lightweight training wheels, so even if completely new to riding, youngsters can focus on pedaling and get going quickly.

POWER MODULATOR V-BRAKES

Reliable V‑brakes with a built‑in power modulator help young riders brake smoothly and confidently, reducing the chance of sudden wheel lock for safer learning.

SIZE SPECIFIC CONTACT POINTS

Skid is finished with a an age specific kids saddle, smaller, narrower bars, smaller diameter grips, reach adjustable bars, reach-adjustable brakes and a shorter crankset with smaller pedals - all to suit smaller rider body geometry perfectly.

CHAINGUARD

The chainguard completely covers the chain and chainrings. This keeps your kid clean and hands and feet from potential hazards.

FENDER MOUNTS

The frame features mounting points for fenders. The bikes come fitted with a rear fender.

HIGHER VOLUME TYRES

Skid is designed to easily fit higher volume 16" x 2.125" tyres with plenty of mud clearance. Bigger tyres can increase the contact area and thus ride comfort, control and grip

LIGHTWEIGHT TRAINING WHEELS

The Skid 16 comes with training wheels.

6061 ALLOY FRAME

Skid features a brand new frame for young riders. Trickle-down technology means that the new frame benefits from our leading platforms. The frame tubes are mechanically formed into complex shapes to increase strength and stiffness, minimizing weight and excess material use. Skid features a 1" headtube. Skid decals are applied under the clear coat for durability.

SUPER LOW STANDOVER

Lower standover means that the Skid can be ridden by both male and female riders with more room for movement. This improves control and confidence on technical sections. It also allows for a longer dropper post to be used.
