TECHNISCHE HIGHLIGHTS

HYDRO FORMED ALLOY FRAME

The Spyke 26 features a class leading frame. Trickle-down technology means that the new frame benefits from our leading platforms. The frame tubes are hydro-formed into complex shapes to increase strength and stiffness, minimizing weight and excess material use - resulting in a lighter bike for young riders.

7 SPD SHIMANO DRIVETRAIN

Spyke 26 features a 1 x 7-speed Shimano geared drivetrain. The single chainring up front makes the gears intuitive and easy to use and the gears gives young legs a bit of help on climbs.

MECHANICAL DISC BRAKES

Spyke 26 comes with mechanical disc brakes. Disc brakes offer dependable all-weather performance over rim brakes and the lever pull is light for young riders. Levers are reach adjustable for smaller hands.

100mm SHOCK ABSORPTION

The Spyke 26 is fitted with purpose chosen 100mm Suntour XCE coil fork with 28mm stanchions for better handling. A suspension fork improves comfort and traction on a hardtail mountain bike.

BIGGER WHEELS, BIGGER CAPABILITY

26" wheels give teens the stability, speed, and confidence they’ve started to outgrow on 24". The larger diameter rolls over bumps more smoothly, carries momentum better, and feels more planted at higher speeds—perfect for riders getting stronger and more adventurous. And because they’re tubeless‑ready, teens get better puncture protection, improved grip, and a smoother ride that keeps up with their growing skills.

ADAPTED POP GEOMETRY

Silverback's Position of Power geometry. Geometry designed to engage bigger muscle groups in pedaling, producing more power output for the same amount of input. Longer frame places the rider forward, in a more balanced position, improving grip on the rear on climbs and on the front on descents. A longer wheelbase and slacker head angle means more control at speed. Geometry is adapted to offer more comfort.

QUICK RELEASE WHEELS

Kids want to ride anywhere and everywhere. This means they want their bikes taken with on weekends away, or even when you head over to friends for coffee. By giving our kids bikes quick release wheels, we make sure that you can quickly and easily take the wheels off, to fit it in your car, or in a roof box. This also makes fixing punctures a breeze if they should happen.

ERGONOMIC YOUTH SADDLE

Supports young teens where it matters, reducing pressure and keeping them comfortable as rides get longer and trails get rougher.

SIZE SPECIFIC CONTACT POINTS

Spyke 26 is finished with a kid's specific saddle, smaller, narrower bars, smaller diameter grips, reach adjustable bars, reach adjustable brakes and a shorter crankset with smaller pedals - all to suit smaller riders perfectly.

SUPER LOW STANDOVER

Spyke 26 frame has a very low standover, this means that it can be ridden by both girls and boys with more room for movement. This improves control and confidence over technical terrain.

RACK AND FENDER MOUNTS

The Spyke 26 frame features mounting points for fenders and racks. (Rack sold separately)
