The SE-Series Fat Deluxe features a 1 x 10 Shimano drivetrain, Surface crankset and an SBC rigid alloy fork. If you're doing a lot of touring, the Deluxe is the bike for you. Simplistic maintenance and reliable parts means this bike is the perfect partner for adventures.

ALLOY RIGID FORK

The colour matched alloy rigid fork is specifically designed to suit the go-anywhere capability and attitude of the SE-Series Fat series of bikes. Accommodating Fat tyres, the fork has a thru axle for maximum stiffness.

SUNRINGLE MULEFUT 80 TUBELESS WHEELSET

The SUNRingle Mulefut wheelset is pre taped and tubeless ready. Easy to set up and super strong, whilst being surprisingly light for the size.

FAT WHEELS

SE-Series Fat is designed to run FAT 26" tyres with plenty of mud clearance. Bigger tyres can increase contact area and thus ride comfort, control and grip. SE-Series Fat wheels are pre-taped and tubeless ready.

HYDRO-FORMED 6061 ALLOY FRAME

SE-Series Fat features a brand new frame focused on the sport adventure market. The frame tubes are hydro-formed into complex shapes to increase strength and stiffness, minimizing weight and excess material use. Geometry has been updated to make for bike that handles better over rough terrain, making for a very easy bike to ride.

RACK, FENDER AND KICKSTAND MOUNTS

There is an integrated kickstand mount in the left rear chainstay. The addition of a kickstand is neat and uncomplicated. We suggest using the Speedkit kickstand for e-bikes and fatbikes. The disc Brake caliper mounted inside rear triangle to protect it from environmental damage, while also acting like a brace, improving strength around the dropout and kickstand mount. The frame features mounting points for a rear fender and pannier racks. SE-Series Fat can easily be set up as an adventure or touring bike.

SBC ALLOY RIGID FORK

The SE-Series Fat Deluxe features a thru axle SBC Alloy rigid fork. Matched colour and alloy tubing profiles. The fat wheels provide bump absorption so that even though a rigid fork, the bike does not feel harsh. A rigid fork is also virtually maintenance free, so great for peace of mind, remote adventures.

INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING

Internal routed cables with full length cable housings keeps the cockpit clean and neat. This also ensures that cables are out of harm's way, and requires less maintenance due to less dirt ingression into the cables.

SHORT CHAINSTAYS

Short chainstays coupled with updated geometry means that the SE-Series Fat is more nimble through corners, yet retains overall stability.

TAPERED HEADTUBE

A Tapered headtube increases front-end stiffness and directly influences steering feel and precision. This also means that the Stride range is compatible with all modern forks, if you would want to upgrade your suspension.

I've been really impressed with the Fat Bike Deluxe. It handles everything from forest trails to beach rides with ease, and the wide tires give amazing confidence on loose terrain. The ride is smooth, comfortable, and surprisingly agile. It's a fun, reliable bike that encourages me to explore further every ride.

Customer service - poor

I've ordered a bike on 13th November. Got sms order confirmation. On 18th Nov I asked about shippment details. I got message that shippment is in progres. Without any details again. On 19 th Nov bike was in my hands but:
- shippment was realized by DSV not DHL as SB wrote in order confirmation
- no one gave me any delivery details, i have luck that i was home that today
- bike was packed in the different way that SB showing on video
- i haven't received yet any purchase document

I'm very disappointed. Still waiting for documents and feedback from SB side.

bike it is a great fun

I really appreciate your follow-up! I got my Silverback Scoop Deluxe back in mid May. Elena was above and beyond to help me out. I totally enjoy the bike it is a great fun. I even wrote a review on the SB website. Posted a few images here on Instagram too, but those are in line with my artistic approaches rather than bike photo images.

Really pleased with it and it's performance. There are many bikes out there but I like Sivlerbacks performance to price ratio with other words you get mush bang for the buck! Please continue with that! BR.

Swedish Lappland

I bought my Scoop Deluxe in january 2020 after having wanted a fatbike since 2015. I had a planned trip to Swedish Lappland in february so it would get a proper baptism in snow.

Let me just mention that the ordering process was amazing. I had a number of questions before ordering and Silverback as a company, and Elena specifically, were incredibly helpful in getting my questions answered and getting the bike sorted and shipped. The bike was delivered to my office with the dropperpost already installed, and putting it together was a breeze. One thing I did notice getting the bike out of the box was that the yellow paint on the fork looked a bit thin in two areas, where you could see the primer somewhat shine through. I'm sure it would have been sorted out if I notified Silverback about it. But I didn't because I was not to bothered about it and was going to take the bike to Sweden no matter what anyway. Also, it's a good excuse to replace the fork later on with the pretty carbon one Silverback offers.

Other than the mentioned paint the buildquality of the bike is spot on. Brakes work fine once bedded in, and gear indexing was perfect on delivery (although naturally it needed some adjustment after the first few rides). The seat and grips are comfortable so haven't felt the urge to replace those, which I think is in many cases one of the first things people replace for the bike to suit there needs. The dropperpost works fine. I did notice the remote not working as smoothly as it was anymore, and requiring a bit more force, but I'm guessing it's nothing some lube on the cable won't fix.

I have a hardtail XC mountainbike as well, but the Scoop has been my preferred offroader since I got it. It even has me cautiously glancing at endurance fatbiking events to take part in next winter. Riding the bike does take some getting used to, but once you do there is something addicting trotting along on longer rides or ripping around dedicated MTB trails. You probably won't set any records in terms of speed, but you would be surprised how well the bike performs on other than typical fatbike-terrain like snow and sand.

Oh, and did I mention you do attract a lot of attention on a fatbike (although this is probably aided by the bright yellow paint too)? :-)"

bought my Silverback last summer to get over my running injuries and now I have to admit that Scoop took my heart! Everything works just like things should work and all you have to do is drive and enjoy!
