SE:SERIES 8 AIR - DAILY COMMUTER MEETS OFFROAD GETAWAY
Hardtail sport riding commuters and offroad getaways. Featuring a 8-Speed Shimano ESSA drivetrain, 100mm Air suspension fork, and hydraulic disc brakes, make the SE:Series 8 an off-road Sport-XC bike, ideal for weekend adventures. The included standard kickstand and rack mounts, make it equally comfortable and convenient for your daily commute.
SPORT OPTIMISED POP GEOMETRY
POP geometry engages bigger leg muscle groups for more effective climbing. The rider position on the SE:Series 8 improves traction, front wheel grip and bike control. This means that it also feels more natural, boosting confidence and skill development.
Air Suspension Fork
The SE:Series 8 Air comes equipped with a lighter weight Air-sprung 100mm suspension fork - Suntour XCR Air fork with Tapered Steerer. A suspension fork improves comfort and traction on a hardtail mountain bike.
Hydroformed alloy frame
Hydroformed tubing, Tapered headtube, T6 - 6061 Aluminium, semi-internal cable routing, dropper post compatible, replaceable derailleur hanger, integrated 40mm direct-mount 2-bolt kickstand mounts, water bottle bosses, 135mm x 10mm QR rear hub spacing, 27.5 & 29" x 2.35" tyre clearance, rack and fender mounts.
Hydraulic Disc Brakes
The SE:Series 8 comes equipped with hydraulic disc brakes for stronger and more reliable stopping power.
1x Drivetrain
All SE:Series 8 comes standard with 1 x 8-Speed drivetrains - more intuitive to use and requires less maintenance.
Easy-route internal cable routing
SE:Series 8 features full internal routing. The brake line follows the seatstay, making this the shortest possible rear brake line route on the bike. Dropper post cable routing is included for future bike upgrades.
Internal Dropper post compatible
SE:Series 8 models have internal cable routing ready for a dropper post upgrade. (Dropper post sold separately)
High volume - 2.35" tyre compatibility
Tyre compatibility is up to 2.35" wide, offering noticeably better bump absorption and grip!
Waterbottle mounts
SE:Series 8 offers more waterbottle mount options. Sizes M-XL have capacity for 2 full sized bottles while size Small has 1. (Bottle cages sold separately)
SURFACE CHAIN GUIDE
Included on all 1x drivetrains. Improves chain stability, helps to prevent chain drop.
Refined seat-stay bridge & wide tyre clearance
Seat Stay support bridge to stiffen up the rear triangle with an attachment point for a fender or mud guard.
RACK MOUNTS INTEGRATED IN FRAME.
All SE:Series models include mounting points for rear racks, allowing you to haul your gear when you commute/tour. (Rack sold separately)
