Scento Path MD is designed to navigate the urban jungle. Cobblestone back alleys, potholes and anything else your commute may throw at you, MD will get you there, in comfort and on time. A Shimano Altus drivetrain fitted to a quality alloy frame is at the heart of this bike. Rack and fender compatibility is a must for bike like this. Hydraulic disc brakes are powerful, easy to use, offers great modulation, and is all-weather and terrain friendly. The MD is fitted with mechanical disc brakes, alloy components, flat bars and quality, fast rolling rubber. Take the shortest route and get there quicker!

HYDRO FORMED ALLOY ROAD FRAME

The Scento Path MD - Silverback Engineered Custom Butted 6061 Aluminium frame features a tapered 1-1/8"-1.5" headtube, integrated headset, semi smooth welds, SB formed stays and a replaceable alloy derailleur hanger. Designed for 700C wheels, this frame is lightweight and stiff, pedal efficient and durable.

COMFORT AND PEDAL EFFICIENCY- ORIENTATED COMMUTE GEOMETRY

The Scento range is designed for your daily commute. The Path design & specification places the rider in an efficient position for pedaling around the city or neighborhood.

GEOMETRY

Scento geometry is focused on commuting. This means the rider is placed slightly higher on the bike, for better visibility in traffic. The head angle is steep, making for nimble handling, and a short wheelbase, for a bike that's easier to take on a train, or put away in an apartment. The geometry has also been optimised for power delivery and comfort.

RACK AND FENDER, HYDRATION MOUNTS & KICKSTAND

Scento frames feature rack and fender mounts. This means it is easy to set up for touring, and all weather commuting. Also features two water bottle or accessory mounts in the front triangle and a kickstand

INTERNAL ROUTING

All cables are run internally on the Scento frames. Internal routing protects cables better, and keeps the bike clean and neat.

700C WHEELS

Running on 700C Tubeless ready Surface alloy road wheels, the Scento has very little rolling resistance, meaning less input for greater speed and distance. Get there quicker and less sweaty. Winning.

MECHANICAL DISC BRAKES

The Path MD is fitted with quality mechanical disc brakes. These are all weather and all terrain friendly. Also easy to adjust or work on for the home mechanic.

DRIVETRAIN

Scento Path MD features Shimano components chosen for reliability over long term use. Shimano components offer great shifting and little maintenance, perfect for a commuting bike.

SR SUNTOUR NEX

The Path HD is fitted with an SR Suntour NEX HLO, DS 700, 63mm suspension travel with hydraulic lock out.

Yes, but it would have to be externally routed, or you would have to use one of your other cable entry holes to route an internal dropper.
