Abus ST 2250 Rahmentasche

I ride daily through traffic and often lock up in public spaces, so I needed a frame bag that stayed out of the way yet was big enough for my chain lock and essentials. The ST 2250 works well for this: the 1.8 L main compartment fits my 90 cm ABUS chain plus pump and gloves.

The reflective accents included help in low light, and the stable shape means no flapping on rough roads. My only wish: a little side pocket for phone access would make it perfect.

I fitted the ST 2250 frame bag to my bike for everyday commutes and weekend rides. The 1.8 litre capacity is ideal—just enough for a multi‐tool, inner tube, lock and some snacks without feeling bulky. The water‐repellent 420D/Scotch Rip 58 fabric handled a surprise rain shower on the way home and kept everything dry.

The Velcro straps for installation were quick and didn’t interfere with my cables. One small point: the colour is plain black, so I added a reflective sticker for extra visibility. Overall, very happy with the fit and function.
