FEATURE PACKED SPORT MTB AT A WALLET FRIENDLY PRICE
Stride HD features a hydro formed alloy frame, full length external routing, tubeless ready wheels, an integrated kickstand mount, tapered headtube and progressive trail geometry. Stride HD is fitted with a VAXA coil suspension fork with 100mm of travel, enough to take the sting out of bumpy terrain. The VAXA fork is lighter than comparable forks, and features black steel stanchions, and a tapered steerer for improved stiffness and ride feel. To compliment the new Stride hydro formed frame, the components on the HD is durable and carefully selected to give you a true BIC offering true to SB's ethos.
HYDRO FORMED ALLOY FRAME
Hydro-formed 6061 Alloy frame The Stride HD features a class leading frame. Trickle-down technology means that the new frame benefits from our leading platforms. The frame tubes are hydro-formed into complex shapes to increase strength and stiffness, minimizing weight and excess material use. The HD is external cable routed and has a tapered headtube.
POP GEOMETRY
Position of Power -Geometry designed to engage bigger muscle groups in pedaling, producing more power output for the same amount of input. Longer frame places the rider forward, in a more balanced position, improving grip on the rear wheel on climbs and on the front wheel on descents. A longer wheelbase and slacker head angle means more control at speed.

WHY IT’S BEST.
- Trickle down adapted POP geometry means that the Stride HD places the rider in a more balanced position. This engages bigger muscle groups when climbing and provides more balance, more traction, grip and control.
- The hydro formed frame is lightweight and features a tapered headtube, full length external routing and eye catching, durable paint and decals.
- Stride HD is fitted with a 100mm suspension fork, great for exploring off the beaten track.
- Stride HD features hydraulic disc brakes. Disc brakes offer dependable all weather performance over rim brakes and are easy to set up and maintain.
- The Stride HD also makes a great commuting or touring bike, even for off season riding, featuring rack and fender mounts as well as an integrated kickstand mount.

ENGINEERING NOTES.
RESPONSIVE SHORT CHAINSTAYS
Short chainstays coupled with modern Pop geometry means that the Stride is more nimble through corners, yet retains overall stability and predictable steering.
SUSPENSION FORK
Stride HD is fitted with a purpose chosen VAXA 100mm suspension fork. The VAXA suspension fork improves comfort and traction on a hardtail mountain bike.
The wider stanchions on the fork and headtube on the frame ensures greater steering accuracy and better front end stiffness. The increased stiffness is used in order to reduce the flex of the front end of the bike, which the rider feels as a more stable ride.
ALLOY CONTROL PARTS
All Stride bicycles are fitted with quality alloy control parts.
This means less weight, and more durability - for many happy trails.
Similarly brand name components are chosen for durability and function, meaning that your Stride offers worry free ownership.
TUBELESS READY
Surface Wheels pre taped at the factory and are tubeless ready from the box. Easy to set up, just add sealant and inflate to seat.
HYDRAULIC DISC BRAKES
Stride HD is fitted with NUTT hydraulic disc brakes. Disc brakes offer dependable all weather performance over rim brakes. NUTT makes a good quality brake offering decent power and great modulation, as well as solid ergonomics.
ACCESSORY COMPATIBILITY
Stride frames are rack and fender compatible. Easily set it up for what you need!
FULL LENGTH EXTERNAL CABLE HOUSINGS
Stride HD features full length externally routed cable housings. These are easier to maintain than internal cables. Also, since the housing is full length, cables are less prone to dirt ingress in the system, meaning less maintenance and smoother gears and better functioning brakes for longer periods.
ALLOY RISER HANDLEBAR
The riser alloy handlebar offers more adjustability, a more upright riding position and consequently more comfort than lower bars. Anodized finish means that the bar is durable and also lighter than steel handlebars.
