It may not sound exciting at first, but it offers a lot a lot of fantastic mountain biking trails. Add these trails to your to-do list:
Northern Ireland:
Northern Ireland has fantastic trails and there are plenty to choose from for any level of riding that you do.
On the shores of Carlingford Lough, you will find a 27km red trail that will challenge your mountain biking skills & stamina.
If you are looking for a trail to really test your adrenaline you can also find a 18km trail to test your handling skills.
Keen on downhills? You can find a uplift service which is for the downhill junkies and if you need to hire a bike, grab a coffee or get your bike washed, it is all there!
SCOTLAND:
The 7stanes gets its name from the 7 trail centers in Scotland. It is a world-class mountain biking center in the south of Scotland. These award winning trails offers the best mountain biking and appeals to riders from all over the world.
Pro or beginner, you do not have to be experienced to enjoy these trails, from beginner trails, a day out with family or for the pros. It is a great place to practice your technique.

Next up, we have a trail that screams fun and that is very challenging. The Dalbeattie is world famous for its stone and rock. These trails are differently graded loops to give you perspective of Dalbeattie riding. Highly recommended and amazing views.
Glentress is a great trail to sharpen your skills before you embark on green routes all the way to red and black. There is also a freeride park, café & a bike shop. #NewBikeDay.
Fort William, may ring a bell to those who wouldn’t miss a UCI World Cup Race. Fort William is most famous for its MTB destination in the UK.
Here is something for everyone. From cross-country to downhill with fast single track and natural root features & jumps, this track requires lots of bravery.
WALES:
Since 1997 Coed y Brenin has been the official trail in Wale and is still highly recommended till today. It is in the Snowdonia National Park and offers trails for all levels. Come check it out - from bike shop, café, showers, and bike hire.

In South Wales Afan Forest Park is regularly voted as one of the best trail centers for its choice of trails that will cater for all abilities. It has expanded and evolved over the years, there is a good cafe and easy parking on-site, and it’s easy to access from the M4 motorway. There are six trails to choose from and combined cover well over 100km of mountain biking! You can enjoy a 15km blast around the rocky White’s Level or test your endurance on the mammoth 44km W2 trail or brush up your handling skills on a bike park.

ENGLAND:
Cannock Chase is an extremely popular trail center due to its location and easy access. It provides a number of routes and different grades to suit your taste, culminating in the 14-mile Monkey Trail. It’s also suitable for family and children with easier trails through the forest.
Sheffield has become popular with mountain bikers, and with the Peak District on its doorstep, it’s easy to see why. You can plot a route over the heat of the Peak District taking in the famous Cut Gate Path and Jacobs Ladder, both of which are worth riding for the fantastic single track, savage climbs and remote views.
