Splash SE is a Silverback Ladies Design platform (SLD) featuring a hydro formed alloy frame with tapered headtube, integrated kickstand mount and full length external routing. Running on 27.5” wheels it has a full compliment of rack & fender mounts and trickle down trail geometry. Splash SE is fitted with a fit-and-forget Zoom suspension fork with 100mm of travel. To compliment the Splash hydro formed frame, the components on the SE are durable and carefully selected to give the rider a quality, well priced MTB, in line with SB's BIC ethos.

      ADAPTED POP GEOMETRY

Silverback's Position of Power geometry. Geometry designed to engage bigger muscle groups in pedalling, producing more power output for the same amount of input. Longer frame places the rider forward, in a more balanced position, improving grip on the rear on climbs and on the front on descents. A longer wheelbase and slacker head angle means more control at speed. Geometry on the Splash is adapted to offer more comfort.

      SLD (SILVERBACK LADIES DESIGN)

Silverback Ladies Design means that the bicycle is set up to better suit women's anatomy and body proportions. This on the Splash means narrower handlebars, thinner grips, adjusted gear ratios, shorter stem and a women's specific saddle.

    • WHY IT’S BEST.

      1. SLD is designed around the needs of real world female riders, with input from riders.
      2. Shimano drivetrain offers reliable performance and plenty of gear options for climbing and descending.
      3. The easy to set up Zoom air suspension fork takes the sting out of harsh trails.
      4. Splash SE is fitted with alloy V-brakes.
      5. Trickle down technology means that the Splash has class leading features like progressive geometry, tapered headtube and internal cable routing.
      6. Silverback quality guarantee.

      ENGINEERING NOTES.

      HYDRO FORMED ALLOY FRAME

The Splash features a class leading frame. Trickle-down technology means that the new frame benefits from our leading platforms. The frame tubes are hydro-formed into complex shapes to increase strength and stiffness, minimizing weight and excess material use. All Stride frames are now internal dropper post ready.

      SUSPENSION FORK

The Splash SE is fitted with a purpose chosen 100mm suspension fork. A suspension fork improves comfort and traction on a hardtail mountain bike. The Zoom 565 AMS Suspension Fork, 100mm travel, Coil, with Preload Adjust fork features a hydraulic lockout.

      3X DRIVETRAIN

The Splash SE is fitted with a 3x7 drivetrain with easy to use EZ Fire shifters. 3x drivetrains offer a wide range of gears for both climbing and descending.

      SURFACE TUBELESS READY WHEELS

Surface Wheels are pre-taped at the factory and tubeless ready from the box. Easy to set up, just add sealant and inflate to seat.

      LOW STANDOVER

The new Splash frame is designed with super low standover. This means more maneuverability, easier mounting and dismounting and also confidence both on the trails, or even just standing at a traffic light. And helps to make the bike perfectly suited to female riders.

      SPORT ADAPTED POP GEOMETRY

Position of Power - Geometry designed to engage bigger muscle groups in pedaling, producing more power output for the same amount of input. Longer frame places the rider forward, in a more balanced position, improving grip on the rear on climbs and on the front on descents. A longer wheelbase and slacker head angle means more control at speed.

      SLD SPEC

Silverback Ladies Design means that the bike is set up to better suit women's anatomy and body proportions. This on the Splash means narrower handlebars, thinner grips, adjusted gear ratios, shorter stem and a women's specific saddle.
