24" WHEELS WITH A SUSPENSION FORK. BEING A KID IS AWESOME.
The Skid 24 D SE is the perfect mountain bike to get your kid riding trails in no time. A 50mm suspension fork and higher volume 2'35" knobbly mountain bike tyres along with an easy to use Shimano/Sunrace 1x8 speed drivetrain means this bike is suitable for riding trails, street, your local pump track or even to school and back. Skid 24D SE features a low standover frame design with alloy components and mechanical disc brakes.
SUSPENSION FORK
The lightly sprung Zoom 50mm Suspension fork is ample for smaller riders, smoothing out uneven terrain as well as improving grip adding loads to the fun factor on bumpy trails or jumps.
MECHANICALLY-FORMED 6061 ALLOY FRAME
Skid 24 features a frame optimized for young riders. Trickle-down technology means that the new frame benefits from our leading platforms. The frame tubes are mechanically formed into complex shapes to increase strength and stiffness, minimizing weight and excess material use, resulting in a lighter weight frame and lighter complete bike.

ENGINEERING NOTES.
SUPER LOW STANDOVER
Skid 24 D SE's frame has a very low standover, this means that the Skid 24 can be ridden by both girls and boys with more room for movement. This improves control and confidence over technical terrain.
EASY RIDE GEOMETRY
Geometry on our kids bicycles are designed to improve balance and comfort moving the rider in a more natural feeling position. With better balance and more comfort, confidence is improved. This makes for quick riding progression.
MECHANICAL DISC BRAKES
Skid 24 comes with mechanical disc brakes. Disc brakes offer dependable all-weather performance over rim brakes and the lever pull is light for young riders. Levers are reach adjustable for smaller hands.
RACK AND FENDER MOUNTS
The Skid24 frame features mounting points for fenders and racks.
SKID SADDLE
The new Skid saddle is manufactured to be durable, good looking, comfortable and to fit a junior rider's body.
1X GEARED DRIVETRAIN
Skid 24 Sus features a 1x8 speed Sunrace geared drivetrain. The single Surface chainring up front makes the gears intuitive and easy to use, and the gears gives young legs a bit of help on climbs.
KICKSTAND
Skid 24 is fitted with an integrated kickstand.
SIZE SPECIFIC CONTACT POINTS
Skid 24 Sus is finished with a kid's specific saddle, smaller, narrower bars, smaller diameter grips, reach adjustable bars, reach adjustable brakes and a shorter crankset with smaller pedals - all to suit smaller riders perfectly.
