Easily traverse the desert dunes or get lost in a snowy winter wonderland on fat tyres. Fatbikes are built to take on extreme conditions without drama. The SE:Series Fat SX features an SX Eagle 1 x 12 speed drivetrain, giving the rider a very low gear and allowing you to climb up almost anything, loose rock or slippery slopes. The Bluto fork takes care of rough stuff and the big volume tyres will absorb trail bumps. To keep the muck out of your cables and for both function and aesthetics, the SE:Series Fat SX has internal cable routing.

1X12 SRAM SX DRIVETRAIN

1x Drivetrains have loads of benefits over multi-chainring setups. Benefits include ease of use, chain retention over technical terrain, cheaper and easier maintenance, more reliable and more durable componentry, easier climbing, improved ground clearance and less weight.

SURFACE DROPPER POST

The SE:Series Fat SX features a Surface internal routed dropper post. A dropper post can greatly benefit riders of all off-road disciplines. The ability to get your saddle out of the way quickly and without taking your hands off the bars, means you can shift your weight more freely on the bike, making for more confidence in technical sections and ultimately more control as well as a bigger margin for error. Surface stealth dropper posts offer cable-actuated bar-mounted remote activation, meaning that riders can adjust saddle height on the fly without taking hands off the bars

ENGINEERING NOTES.

12 SPEED DRIVETRAIN

SE:Series Fat SX features a SRAM SX 12 speed Eagle drivetrain. A 1x setup with a wide range cassette means easier climbing but also the ability to maintain higher pedalling speed on descents.

FAT WHEELS

SE:Series Fat is designed to run FAT 26" x 4.7" tyres with plenty of mud clearance. Bigger tyres can increase contact area and thus ride comfort, control and grip. SE:Series Fat wheels are pre-taped and tubeless ready.

GEOMETRY

SE:Series Fat features capable easy ride geometry. Comfortable for longer adventures and handles well over difficult terrain. The frame is dropper post ready - further enhancing SE:Series Fat terrain capabilities.

HYDRO-FORMED 6061 ALLOY FRAME

SE:Series Fat features a brand new frame focused on the sport adventure market. The frame tubes are hydro-formed into complex shapes to increase strength and stiffness, minimising weight and excess material use. Geometry has been updated to make for bike that handles better over rough terrain, making for a very easy bike to ride.

RACK, FENDER AND KICKSTAND MOUNTS

There is an integrated kickstand mount in the left rear chainstay. The addition of a kickstand is neat and uncomplicated. We suggest using the Speedkit kickstand for e-bikes/fatbikes. The disc Brake calliper mounted inside rear triangle to protect it from environmental damage, while also acting like a brace, improving strength around the dropout and kickstand mount. The frame features mounting points for a rear fender and pannier racks. SE:Series Fat can easily be set up as an adventure or touring bike.

ROCKSHOX BLUTO SUSPENSION FORK

The SE:Series Fat SX has been updated to a 100mm Bluto air suspension fork. Suspension forks are designed to deal with uneven terrain by absorbing bumps and controlling the rate of the wheel rebound. This means a smoother - more controlled ride with more traction, but also less fatigue and more riding enjoyment. The Bluto is and air fork and can be setup to specific rider weight with the help of a shock pump

Short chainstays coupled with updated geometry means that the SE:Series Fat is more nimble through corners, yet retains overall stability.

SHORT CHAINSTAYS

A Tapered headtube increases front-end stiffness and directly influences steering feel and precision. This also means that the Stride range is compatible with all modern forks, if you would want to upgrade your suspension.
