Scento Metro V is designed to be an honest, reliable commuter, that will get you there in comfort and on time. A Shimano Tourney drivetrain fitted to a quality alloy frame is at the heart of this bike that's completed with V-brakes. Rack and fender compatibility is a must for bike like this. The V is fitted with a alloy components, flat bars and fast rolling rubber. Clean, simple, fun!
HYDRO FORMED ALLOY ROAD FRAME
The Scento - Silverback Engineered Custom Butted 6061 Aluminium frame features a straight headtube, integrated headset, semi smooth welds, SB formed stays and a replaceable alloy derailleur hanger. Designed for 700C wheels, this frame is lightweight and stiff, pedal efficient and durable.

ENGINEERING NOTES.
GEOMETRY
Scento geometry is focused on commuting. This means the rider is placed slightly higher on the bike, for better visibility in traffic. The head angle is steep, making for nimble handling, and a short wheelbase, for a bike that's easier to take on a train, or put away in an apartment. The geometry has also been optimised for power delivery and comfort.
RACK AND FENDER & HYDRATION MOUNTS.
Scento frames feature rack and fender mounts. This means it is easy to set up for touring, and all weather commuting. Also features two water bottle or accessory mounts in the front triangle.
INTERNAL ROUTING
All cables are run internally on the Scento frames. Internal routing protects cables better, and keeps the bike clean and neat.
700C WHEELS
Running on 700C alloy road wheels with machined braking surfaces, the Scento has very little rolling resistance, meaning less input for greater speed and distance. Get there quicker and less sweaty. Winning.
MELT FORGED V-BRAKES
V-brakes are a solid upgrade over cantilever brakes. Light feeling, and easy to adjust, these offer solid power.
DRIVETRAIN
Scento Path MD features Shimano components chosen for reliability over long term use. Shimano components offer great shifting and little maintenance, perfect for a commuting bike.
RIGID ALLOY FORK
The SBC alloy rigid fork is lightweight and gives improved steering and terrain feedback.
