SLADE - THE PERFECT ENTRY TO TRAIL RIDING
Hardtail trail and enduro mountain bike riding is a sure-fire way to quickly boost your skill and confidence. Featuring our new sweet spot geometry, The Slade brings uncompromised climbing and descending prowess to trail hardtails.
TRAIL OPTIMISED POP GEOMETRY
POP geometry engages bigger muscle groups for more effective climbing, and rider position on the Slade improves traction, front wheel grip and bike control. This means that it also feels more natural, boosting confidence and skill development.
Short chainstays
The Short chainstays on the Slade makes for a very nimble handling bike. The forged and flipped yoke creates enough clearance for 29x2.6" tyres on the 430mm chainstays with ample crankarm clearance to boot.

WHY IT’S BEST.
- Slade is designed to rip - this is a real mountain bike, a Trail/enduro hardtail ready to take your riding to the next level.
- Threaded bottom bracket - a press-fit BB on a trail bike is a no-no in our opinion. Less creaks, easy to work on and less maintenance needed.
- SB'S POP geometry means that Slade not only descends and handles well, but climbing is improved as well as balance, cornering grip and traction over technical terrain.

- A hardtail can be really hard on your body. To help with comfort, the bigger tyres and SR Suntour fork with 34mm stanchions makes the tech sections easier to navigate.
- It's a hard knock life for trail wheels. The SUNRingle Duroc 35 wheelset, with 32mm ID is strong enough to take big hits on the trail without issues, yet light enough to use on your everyday rides.
Hydro formed alloy frame
Slade's frame is manufactured from hydro formed, butted 6061 alloy tubing making for a very strong frame. For this kind of application - the hardcore trail hardtail, a strong aluminium frame is a reliable choice. Hydro forming is a process to shape alloy tubing from the inside with pressurized water and/or oil, into a negative mold cavity, resulting in stronger - shaped - thin wall tubing

All Slade models come standard with 1x drivetrains.
Innovative easy-route internal cable routing
Slade features full internal routing. The brake line follows the seatstay, making this the shortest possible rear brake line route on the bike.
Internal Dropper post
Slade models come equipped with internal dropper posts as standard!
High volume - 2.6" tyre compatibility
yre compatibility is 27.5 x 2.8" or 29" up to 2.6" wide, giving plenty of setup options and creating our most versatile hardtail ever. 2.6" Tyres are rapidly becoming the final word in trail tyres, offering noticeably improved comfort and grip over 2.25" tyres, but without the weight, rolling resistance and thin carcasses of 2.8".
Thru Axles and boost
Slade's front and rear axles offer BOOST spacing and thru axles. This makes for stronger wheels, a more durable frame, and stiffer feeling bike when you ride it hard.
Waterbottle mounts
Slade offers more waterbottle mount options. Sizes M-XL have capacity for 2 full sized bottles while size Small has 1.
UHD Hanger
By standardizing the fixed position of the derailleur, the UDH creates a better and more consistent shift experience for all drivetrains and bikes.
Fine-tuned Head Tube
Tapered 66.5° head angle improves climbing stance & handling.
Refined seat-stay bridge
Seat Stay support bridge to stiffen up the rear triangle with an attachment point for a fender or mud guard.
International Standard Chain Device (ISCG).
Dont drop a chain! All Slade frames feature ISCG tabs & compatible chain guide.
DOWNTUBE BASH GUARD.
All Slade models include a bash guard to help protect your frame.
