CLASS LEADING FRAME WITH CLASS LEADING COMPONENTS, THE PERFECT ENTRY TO XC.
Stride HD features a hydro formed alloy frame, full length external routing, tubeless ready wheels, an integrated kickstand mount, tapered headtube and progressive trail geometry. Stride HD is fitted with a 10mm Zoom suspension fork with 100mm of travel, enough to take the sting out of bumpy terrain. The Zoom fork is lighter than comparable forks, and features and a tapered steerer for improved stiffness and ride feel. To compliment the new Stride hydro formed frame, the components on the HD is durable and carefully selected to give you a true BIC offering true to SB's ethos.
POP GEOMETRY
Position of Power - Geometry designed to engage bigger muscle groups in pedaling, producing more power output for the same amount of input. Longer frame places the rider forward, in a more balanced position, improving grip on the rear on climbs and on the front on descents. A longer wheelbase and slacker head angle means more control at speed.
HYDRO FORMED ALLOY FRAME
Hydro-formed 6061 Alloy frame The Stride features a class leading frame. Trickle-down technology means that the new frame benefits from our leading platforms. The frame tubes are hydro-formed into complex shapes to increase strength and stiffness, minimizing weight and excess material use. All Stride frames are now internal dropper post ready.

29” wheels on M, L & XL frames
RESPONSIVE SHORT CHAINSTAYS
Short chainstays coupled with POP geometry means that the Stride is more nimble through corners, yet retains overall stability.
CABLE MANAGEMENT
Continuous cables run under the downtube. Cable routing is quick and easy, making installation a breeze and keeps the bike neat and clutter free. Full length cable housing also means less dirt contaminates the system and therefore less maintenance.
DISC BRAKES ON MOST STRIDES
Disc brakes offer dependable all-weather performance over rim brakes.
Mounted inside the rear triangle to protect it from environmental damage, while also acting like a brace, improving strength around the dropout and kickstand mount.
SUSPENSION FORK
All Stride bicycles are fitted with purpose chosen 100mm suspension forks. The HD is fitted with a 100mm Zoom coil fork with a Tapered Steerer and pre-load adjustment. A suspension fork improves comfort and traction on a hardtail mountain bike.
SURFACE ALLOY CONTROL PARTS
All Stride bicycles are fitted with Surface quality alloy control parts. This means less weight, and more durability - for many happy trails. Similarly brand name components are chosen for durability and function, meaning that your Stride offers worry free ownership. Ergonomic Grips & Saddle improve comfort by relieving pressure from sensitive areas
TUBELESS READY, WIDER RIMS & TIRES
Surface Alloy Wheels are pre-taped and tubeless ready from the box. Easy to set up tubeless, just add sealant and inflate to seat.
FENDER, RACK & KICKSTAND MOUNTS INCLUDED
Fender, Rack & kickstand mounts are integrated into the frame, making the addition & installation neat and uncomplicated. We suggest using the Speedkit kickstand for non e-bikes.
TYRE CLEARANCE
Designed to easily fit higher volume up to 2.35” tires with plenty of mud clearance. Bigger tires can increase contact area and thus ride comfort, control and grip.
LOW STANDOVER
More comfortable for male and female riders.
SURFACE 2x CHAINRINGS & GUARD
Ample gears for your adventure! A chainring guard is also included on all 2x drivetrains to help prevent clothing getting caught.
DROPPER POST COMPATIBLE
Internal routing for dropper post cable.
