ALLOY SPORT ROAD BIKE RE-IMAGINED
The redesigned Strela range is a great option for those who want a high-performance bike without the implications of carbon fibre. Strela features a lightweight triple butted, hydro-formed alloy tube set with smooth welds, that boosts pedaling stiffness for efficient power-transfer while still offering a comfortable experience for long days in the saddle. A premium SB Carbon fork absorb some road vibrations for less fatigue over longer rides. New deep section tubeless compatible Surface alloy wheels are lightweight, fast and strong, offering aero advantages over box section rims. These rims also accommodate wider tyres, up to 700x32c. The new ergonomic flat top bar also ensures a more natural shoulder and arm position, promoting comfort and control. The Strela range is designed to be inline with Silverback's BIC (best-in-class) ethos - offering you the best quality and most bike for your money.
STRELA HYDRO FORMED ALLOY FRAME
The hydro formed alloy frame of the Strela is remarkably light and purposefully stiff. This means that the frame is light for an alloy frame, and strong enough to be ridden hard. It features a tapered 1-1/8"-1.5" headtube, Internal Cable Routing and a replaceable derailleur hanger. Hydro forming is the process of forcing tubes into complex negative molds using internally pressurized water and or oil. This creates lightweight, super strong alloy tubing with complex shapes.
SILVERBACK CARBON ROAD FORK
Strela Elite is fitted with the Silverback Advanced Dynamics carbon fork. The carbon fork further reduces overall weight on the bike, improves aerodynamics, steering precision and ride comfort. With an immaculate paint matched finish, the fork has a tapered carbon steerer and QR dropouts and looks as good as it rides.

GEOMETRY
Geometry on the mid compact Strela is designed for a well balanced ride - shining on both longer rides and climbs/descents, with great comfort, efficient power delivery and loads of cornering stability and grip.
WHEELS AND TYRES
Strela Elite is fitted with a quality double wall Surface deep dish, 700C alloy wheelset. These are quick rolling and wrapped in Vittoria Rubino Pro 700x28C tyres, suited to the Strela's 'do anything' nature.
GROUPSET CHOICE
A highly efficient, benchmark quality, Shimano 105 2x11 groupset ensures longevity, smooth shifting and efficient power delivery to the wheels. Smooth shifting and minimal maintenance is a given when professionally setup.
BRAKESET
Strela Elite is designed to do a bit of everything - well. Going fast and nimble handling is great, but you need to be able to manage that speed for control. Strela Elite uses powerful Shimano 105 hydraulic disc brakes to effectively do just that.
FORK
