Eagle equipped Silverback Ladies Design sport MTB

A 12 speed SX Eagle drivetrain, hydro formed alloy frame, internal routing, tubeless ready wheels and tyres, an integrated kickstand mount, tapered headset and progressive trail geometry. Splash SX is fitted with a Rockshox Recon Silver TK Boost fork with 100mm of travel - considered the benchmark fork in this category. A bike this good and this well spec’d is unseen in this class making the Stride SX a true BIC offering.

    Pop geometry

Position of Power -Geometry designed to engage bigger muscle groups in pedalling, producing more power output for the same amount of input. Longer frame places the rider forward, in a more balanced position, improving grip on the rear on climbs and on the front on descents. A longer wheelbase and slacker head angle means more control at speed.

    SLD (Silverback Ladies Design)

Silverback Ladies Design means that the bike is set up to better suit women's anatomy and body proportions. This on the Splash means narrower handlebars, thinner grips, adjusted gear ratios, shorter stem and a women's specific saddle.

    WHY IT’S BEST.

    1. SLD is designed around the needs of real world female riders.
    2. 1x Eagle drivetrain simplifies the use of gears and de-clutters the handlebars, makes for easier and cheaper maintenance and sheds some weight off the bike.
    3. The easy to set up Rockshox Recon air suspension fork is plush and takes the sting out of harsh trails.
    4. Splash SX is fitted with quality hydraulic disc brakes.
    5. Trickle down technology means that the Splash has class leading features like progressive geometry, tapered headtube and internal cable routing.
    6. Rack, fender, internal routed dropper as well as kickstand ready!

    ENGINEERING NOTES

    Hydro formed alloy frame

The Splash features a class leading frame. Trickle-down technology means that the new frame benefits from our leading platforms. The frame tubes are hydro-formed into complex shapes to increase strength and stiffness, minimizing weight and excess material use. All Stride frames are now internal dropper post ready.

    Air suspension fork

The Splash SX is fitted with a purpose chosen 100mm air suspension fork. A suspension fork improves comfort and traction on a hardtail mountain bike.

    1x drivetrain

Silverback fits 1x drivetrains to as many bikes as we can. 1x offers less maintenance, is more intuitive to use and offers a wider gear range than 3x groupsets. We spec our 32t 1x N/W chainrings on the Splash SX in favour of climbing prowace, over flat terrain top speed. Everyone can benefit from easier climbing.

    Surface tubeless ready wheels

Surface Wheels are pre-taped at the factory and tubeless ready from the box. Easy to set up, just add sealant and inflate to seat.

    Low standover

The new Splash frame is designed with super low standover. This means more maneuverability, easier mounting and dismounting and also confidence both on the trails, or even just standing at a traffic light. And helps to make the bike perfectly suited to female riders.

    Sport adapted POP geometry

Position of Power -Geometry designed to engage bigger muscle groups in pedalling, producing more power output for the same amount of input. Longer frame places the rider forward, in a more balanced position, improving grip on the rear on climbs and on the front on descents. A longer wheelbase and slacker head angle means more control at speed.

    SLD spec

Silverback Ladies Design means that the bike is set up to better suit women's anatomy and body proportions. This on the Sola means narrower handlebars, thinner grips, adjusted gear ratios, shorter stem and a women's specific saddle.
