The maximum tyre size on the Stride range is 2.35" on the rear tyre.
The Splash features a class leading frame. Trickle-down technology means that the new frame benefits from our leading platforms. The frame tubes are hydro-formed into complex shapes to increase strength and stiffness, minimizing weight and excess material use - resulting in a lighter bike for female riders.
Silverback Ladies Design means that the bicycle is set up to better suit women's anatomy and body proportions. This on the Splash means narrow handlebars, thinner grips, adjusted gear ratios, shorter stem and a women's specific saddle.
The Splash SE is fitted with a purpose chosen 100mm Zoom suspension fork. A suspension fork improves comfort and traction on a hardtail mountain bike. The Zoom is a dependable, simplistic component.
Silverback's Position of Power geometry. Geometry designed to engage bigger muscle groups in pedaling, producing more power output for the same amount of input. Longer frame places the rider forward, in a more balanced position, improving grip on the rear on climbs and on the front on descents. A longer wheelbase and slacker head angle means more control at speed. Geometry on the Splash is adapted to offer more comfort.
The Splash SE is fitted with a 3x7 drivetrain with easy to use EZ Fire shifters. 3x drivetrains offer a wide range of gears for both climbing and descending.
Surface Wheels fitted to the Splash are manufactured from double wall alloy extrusions. This means that the wheels are light and strong, and offers a good rim brake surface.
The new Splash frame is designed with super low standover. This means more maneuverability, easier mounting and dismounting and also confidence both on the trails, or even just standing at a traffic light. And helps to make the bike perfectly suited to female riders.
Splash SE features alloy V-brakes. V-brakes are easy to set up, service and offer great stopping power and decent modulation
