Siablo CX's frame is manufactured from hydro formed, butted 6061 alloy tubing making for a very strong frame. For this kind of application - a CX race bike, a strong aluminium frame is a reliable choice. Hydro forming is a process to shape alloy tubing from the inside, using pressurized water and/or oil into a negative mold cavity resulting in stronger thin wall tubing. The Siablo frame also features two waterbottle mounts in the main triangle and rack and fender mounts so that you can use it for touring or commuting.
SRAM's Rival is a wallet friendly groupset with top-end features. Single shifter mated to a clutch rear derailleur, means simplicity and a more quiet ride. Also chaindrops and chainsuck are things of the past.
Internal routing on the CX frame keeps the cockpit neat and cables out of harm's way. Also full length housing internal cables have less chance s of dirt ingression, keeping maintenance down.
Siablo Rival features SRAM Rival hydraulic disc brakes. Hydraulic disc brakes offer a light lever feel, all-weather performance, great modulation and plenty of stopping power.
The Advanced Dynamics Carbon Fork has all-round performance, while retaining absolute functionality. Equipped with fender mounts to protect both rider and components from unwanted debris spray in wet conditions. Fitted with bottle bosses on both stanchions, it greatly increases hydration capacity of the frameset. The bosses also double up as pannier mounts to increase load capacity if you would want to tour or gravel grind on the Siablo CX.
Siablo CX's frame is manufactured from hydro formed, triple butted 6061 alloy tubing making for a very strong frame. For this kind of application - a CX race bike, a strong aluminium frame is a reliable choice. Geometry of the Siablo CX has been fine tuned for the specific needs of CX athletes. Balance, traction, power delivery and great handling are all positively influenced by the geometry.
Thru-axles effectively bolt the wheel to the frame or fork. By comparison, QR systems only slot in place, and compress the dropout to retain the wheel. The increased strength and stiffness of thru-axles can be attributed to both the increase in effective engagement area and the fixing mechanism to the dropout. The thru-axle system is significantly safer, with fewer points for potential failure.
Stan's Grail MK3 700c wheels built onto Alex Rims Bear Pawl sealed bearing hubs. This wheelset is burly enough for proper trails and light enough for long trips on your Siablo.
