S-Electro Trail features a double butted hydro-formed alloy frame with integrated motor mount and internal battery. Hydro forming means that the frame can have thinner sidewalls, complex shapes and curves that makes it stronger and lighter than comparative alloy frames with regular tubing. Hydro forming is the process of forcing tubing into a negative mold with internal pressurised oil and or water, resulting in stronger - lighter tubes. The combination of oversize downtube and hydro forming, makes for a very strong frame.
POP Geometry on the S-Electro Trail has been designed to put the rider in a balanced position on the bike, improving grip, traction and cornering. Pop geometry is a combination of adjustments, longer reach, longer wheelbase, slacker head angle, steeper seat angle, shorter stem and wider bars all help to make a bike that rides better both up and down.
S-Electro Trail is designed around a Shimano EP8 motor. This motor is paired to a high capacity 720Wh internal battery giving the Trail massive range when exploring MTB routes. The Shimano LCD display is intuitive and easy to use, also indicating battery levels and shows all info needed for the electric system. The included smart charger charges the battery quickly, keeping down time to a minimum. Depending on level of assist and terrain, the Trail will give you from 30 to 100km of pedal assist.
The Rockshox Revelation 140mm, motion control air suspension fork, is stiff and offers great damping and smooth movement with very little break away stiction. The Revelation can roll with the punches and will take whatever you throw at it.
The S-Electro Trail is a true hard hitting trail bike and fitted with purpose chosen components. This means that more than giving you the most possible bike for your money, the Trail will also offer full system synergy - when you are really railing the trails, the bike will come alive. A 34t front chainring, and XT 12 speed rear derailleur and SLX shifter is matched to a whopping 10-51t wide range cassette, offering excellent climbing and decent top speed when going flat out.
SUNRingle Duroc 35 wheels are strong and relatively lightweight, and is tubeless ready from the box. Factory pre taped rims mean that you only have to add sealant and valves and you're good to go. Running on 29"x2.6" Maxxis Minion DHF WT EXO Tubeless ready tyres, the Trail will still have grip when you run out of nerves.
The S-Electro trail is designed to fit a full length dropper post and fitted with a 150mm for S/M and a 170mm dropper for L and XL bikes.
S-Electro Trail has an integrated motor cover to protect the motor from bumps and grinds.
