The consumption of the battery is heavily dependant on environmental factors. The range can vary depending on the load of the sstem.
Supersonic is fitted with the brand new FSA System HM 1.0 250W hub motor, matched to an FSA System HM 1.0 250Wh battery with a top-tube integrated on-bike control unit. With five assistance settings, an integrated torque sensor and two speed sensors, the system easily adapt to changing riding styles and conditions. When disengaged, the system has very little drag, for a natural free pedaling motion, and a low q-factor, due to the normal crankset, makes it feel like a normal bicycle. There is also a powerful app that you can load on your smartphone that works with the system.
Supersonic features a proprietary double butted hydro formed alloy frame with smooth welds. Butting means that the tubes are thinner in the middle, but have thicker sidewalls at the junctions. This keeps weight down and ensures enough structural integrity for an electric assisted bike. Hydro forming is the process of forcing the thin wall alloy tubes into negative mold cavities, with internally pressurized water and or oil. This process makes for stronger tubes with complex shapes.
S-Electro Supersonic has Endurance focused geometry for all day riding comfort. The increased fork offset increases stability at high speeds. Short chain stays for improved air flow transition between frame and rear wheel.
Supersonic conceals a 250Wh battery in the sleek alloy down tube. The battery can be charged on the frame, but is also easily removable to charge away from the bike, or to replace. Additionally, the system can take a secondary 250Wh expansion battery in the seat tube bottle mounts, to double the range on the road.
A comfort improving rigid carbon fork is compatible with 700C x 32C front wheels. This fork is aerodynamically optimised, offering improved airflow. Compatible with 160mm flat mount disc brakes, the cable is routed internally, further enhancing looks and aero efficiency.

The LED colour changing top tube button makes changing modes intuitive and quick. And the colour means that you can see it in your peripheral vision, without having to look directly at it, meaning you can keep your eyes on the road.
